David Frazer is a Grammy Award winning Producer/Engineer/Mixer based out of the San Francisco Bay Area who has worked with artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Steve Winwood, Mick Jagger, Al Green, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, Elton John, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Natalie Cole, and many more.

A native of Northern California, David earned his Bachelors Degree in Broadcasting from San Francisco State University. He began his career as a lighting and sound engineer at The Boarding House nightclub. He moved on to staff engineer positions at Wally Heider Studios and The Automatt, both in San Francisco. It was at the Automatt that his talents attracted the attention of Narada Michael Walden. David began engineering and mixing Naradas productions in 1981. Credits began with Angela Bofill and Stacy Lasttisaw and continued through the years to include Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Barbara Streisand, James Brown, Elton John, Ray Charles, Tevin Campbell, Curtis Mayfield, Steve Winwood, The Temptations, Al Jarreau, Lisa Fischer and Shanice Wilson. David is currently an independent engineer with projects including Anastasia, Sting, Yolanda Adams and Andrea Bocelli. He co-produced, recorded and mixed songs for Stevie Wonder and has received a Grammy for his work on the Santana CD, Supernatural. David has also worked extensively in Europe. His first European CD release, Negramaro, was double platinum certified in Italy. He has continued to work in the European market with great success recording and mixing for artists including Ligabue, Romeus, and his most recent release with Italian artist Elisa in November 2009.
